Local 4045 Updates
Posted On: Feb 51, 2019

Good Afternoon.

Due to lack of quorum at our last regular meeting yesterday, I wanted to send out a quick email about some things that we were unable to discuss.

1.) The PFFI 2019 Timely Resolutions are on the Union website, under the "downloads" link. Review them if you like; we will likely have an E-Board vote to grant autonomy to the delgates for voting on our behalf.

2.) Mad Bomber Brewing has approached us to collaborate with us on a fundraising effort that would involve us brewing beer with them, with proceeds from that batch being donated to a charity of our choosing. President Clifford & Chief Riley have been made aware and our working on determining if this would be a joint effort between the District and our Local, or if it would be a venture that we could pursue on our own.

3.) I am ready to start taking order for Local ballcaps, if anyone is interested in them at this time. The two color choices that are being offered at this time are black/black and red/black. I will be ordering extra Flexfit for stock in case anyone needs a hat a later date. If you want a fitted size, you will need to order during this pre-order time. Please order your hats online, using the Union storefront, with the link being available on the homepage of the Union website. I will accept pre-orders for approx. 2-3 weeks. The price per hat is $18.00.

4.) Brother Muthersbaugh has expressed interest to me in joining the re-implemented By-Laws Committee. I am looking for two more members, preferably someone from each remaining un-represented Battalion. Those interested in joining this effort, please contact me via email.

5.) Anyone that is involved with our Seattle Stairclimb team that needs to utilize a Square reader to collect donations, please let me know. I have a couple of readers on-hand and we have a donations page set-up  on our Union storefront as well. It has pre-selected options for $1, $5 &  $10 donations, as well as a custom donation option. You do not, however, need a reader in order to take donations, you can manually type the information into the app. If any of our team is wanting that information for collecting, please contact me also and I will help you out.

I'm sure we will have a full report on the business conducted at the State convention at our next meeting. Look forward to seeing you all there! Have a great rest of the week!

Secretary Pitts
