To My Brothers and Sisters of Local 4045:

For those of you who haven't seen the results, the levy has ended in failure. I personally am heartbroken but am proud and grateful for all of the members who selflessly gave their time and effort to distribute our message and do what they could to garner support from our community. Though the outcome wasn't what we all hoped for, we can hold our heads high with this outstanding effort. 

The future is uncertain for the Northern Lakes Fire Protection District but I will continue to soldier forward until the advent of a clearer path. I hope that we can all find opportunities to learn from our constituents, so we may be further educated on what is required to win their support. I have no doubt that we will all continue to provide the best service possible, even though it may be difficult to do so at times.
