Good Afternoon,

A question was brought up by a member of our Local, concerning our scheduled Special Meeting on Monday, regarding Wage Negotiations we've had this summer. The concern was that due to the revisions by the KCMAC Medical group, that whether or not it was feasible for us to have a gathering to discuss progress and possible conclusions to negotiations. After some advisement from Chief Riley, it was determined that he is going to authorize our gathering, because of it's necessities in order to facilitate District budget planning. So, our meeting is still scheduled for Monday, June 29th, at Garwood Station 3 beginning at 0930. Members are encouraged to attend and are welcome to wear protective masks at their discretion. The meeting should be relatively short, as wage negotiations will be the only thing that is discussed.
